Who we are

Founded in 2025 in response to the war in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Housing Foundation brings together community leaders, volunteers, and resettlement advocates who identified an urgent gap in support for Ukrainian families arriving in Western New York.

The need for safe, stable housing for Ukrainian immigrants continues to outpace available resources. The Foundation exists to ensure that volunteers have the funding they need to support newly arrived families. Its founding members set out to work with faith communities and resettlement agencies to provide temporary shelter, essential household supplies, and rental cost support to Ukrainian immigrants.
