Now, as she undergoes intensive treatment and cannot work, Oleksandr carries the full responsibility of supporting the family while trying to provide stability and hope for their children.

Oleh Nahlovach

Oleh came to the United States with his wife and young son seeking safety from the war in Ukraine. Just as they began rebuilding their lives, his wife Tetiana was diagnosed with melanoma. Oleh left his job to care for her and their child while the family struggled with overwhelming medical costs not covered by insurance. Despite these challenges, they continue to fight for a better future and recovery for their family.

Dmytro Partyka

Dmytro and his family escaped the dangers of war hoping to create a safer future for their children. After settling in the United States, he worked hard as a truck driver to support his growing family. Their lives changed dramatically when Dmytro suffered a heart attack and, soon after, two of their sons were diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a severe progressive disease. The family now faces immense emotional and financial challenges while caring for two seriously ill children.

Volodymyr Skrypnyk

Volodymyr, his wife Nelia, and their young son fled Ukraine after constant bombings and fear made it impossible to stay. In America, Volodymyr found work and began building a stable life for his family. The family is now struggling to pay rent, utilities, and basic living expenses while fighting to reunite their family.

Lesia Fedunyshyn

Lesia came to the United States with her children to escape war, power outages, and dangerous living conditions in Ukraine. After months apart, her husband finally joined the family and began supporting them as they rebuilt their lives. Tragically, he later died in a fatal accident, leaving Lesia to care for their children alone while grieving an unimaginable loss. Today, she works tirelessly to provide for her family but continues to face significant financial hardship.

Tetiana Kozak

Tetiana fled Ukraine while battling blood cancer and living through constant attacks and power outages. Alone in a new country, she has undergone intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments while trying to rebuild her life.
